Hamilton Stanley with 401. Who got it?
Did someone here just snag the Hamilton Stanley with a B-I-N price of $199? It had a running 401 movement. even though there was brassing on the high points of the bezel and actual wear-through on the back of the case, it still looked nice (and seems like a good deal for $199).Anyone???........
New arrival: Cushion with special Fluckiger dial
My fourth Cushion Form (not counting the very first Hamilton which I bought in my fledgling days on eBay in 1998, and which I sold some time ago), this just arrived today. It is in very nice original condition (except for newer glass crystal), and sports the special #05 raised gold numerals and inlaid enamel dial manufactured for Hamilton by Fluckiger of Switzerland. It dates to 1929 by the movement SN. Many thanks to Tom Diss for the copy of the original dial diagram, which I've included here (........
