1942 Elgin Catalog

We Elgin collectors have to deal with a frustrating lack of information. ONE catalog, from 1939, available online, versus catalogs for every single year from 1930-1970 for Hamiltons.Last week I saw a 1942 Elgin catalog on Ebay, and I won it! I used a digital camera to take pics, but will scan tomorrow and post better ones. For now, it's on my blog. I still have to figure out how best to post it. The watch is very pretty and exactly as shown in the picture. The dial is easy to use and the date is easy to read. My only disappointment is the light weight bracelet. Would recommend this watch and would bably buy one again.
