I bought this watch for three reasons. 1) In college, Schlitz was the beer of choice because it was always cheap, though their dark beer is world class 2). The dial seemed mother of pearlish and was unique as far as the Elgins I've come across. 3) I have an illness.I had to do a little self repair to it, as most of the black enamel was gone in the rectangular spots.
