Preventative Maintenance question
Until about 2 years ago, I've owned nothing but quartz. I just had my first experience with the regular servicing of an automatic, a 70's Tissot I bought on eBay a couple months ago, and the repairman told me to keep an eye on it in case it runs fast or slow. My question: isn't some regulating of a timepiece part of the service ($125) or is that something I should have asked for separately? Or, was he just being friendly and I'm worrying too much?........

Two days ago I went to a high end jewelery store that sells omega, Breitling, Tag and I believe Raymond Weil. Any way I worked in there wearing my Citizen world timer on the original strap but was looking for a Genuine Alligator or Crocodile but when one of the sales peolpe asked to see my watch I kindly handed it over to them because they did'nt believe me when I had said it was a 21mm which I admit is kind of odd, But what got me mad was the way the sales person slammed my watch onto the displ........
