My first automatic watch.Initially I was looking for a black Monster, but I found this watch at what I think was a really good price. Now that I have it, I actually think that I might prefer the styling. I'm not a diver, so the water resistance is not a big deal to me. I've tried on a few Monsters, but do not own one.The bracelet was missing some links, which I knew before I paid for it, and of course it did not fit me. That's OK though, because I was looking to put a rubber strap on the watch a........
Want a new strap... but hate buckles!
I'm hoping a few of you can help me out on this. I've got the Glycine Lagunare L1000 Chrono and really love the watch. But the rubber strapnot so much. I've come to the conclusion as I evaluate my collection that buckles and I simply don't play well together. They just seem bulky, cumbersome, and a pain to operate when a rubber strap is paired to a buckle featuring a bent tang (I hope "tang" is the right word). That's what I have in the case of my Lagunare as shown in the picture to follow.........
