I did see a used 1960s Oyster Perpetual, Ref 1024. caliber 1570 for sale in Norway.The seller says this is a gold plated watch. Does omega make gold plated watches?Also the seller says the ref 1024 with cal 1570 is a very rare omega. I got a hard time believing this. A short and fairly naive question..I know that the 5396 has a 24 hour dial. Am I right in saying that this simply mirrors the main hour hand (albeit on a 24 hour scale) or can it be set by itself to provide a second time zone function. IMHO this would be an almost perfect timepiece if it did this.Best. Mac........
