Vintage Movement Numbers
I noticed on the vintage Hamilton wind-up models, the movements are numbered. Some are 747, 748 or 673 and there seem to be alot of others to.Does this have something to do with when the watch was made, or does it mean something about the quality? Should I be looking for a certain movement because one is better than the other? Is there a difference between a 747 movement and a 748?What exactly do these numbers mean?........
