omega constellation - gold plated?

Hi guys. Newbee here.I've enjoyed reading this section of WTF and learned a lot about omegas. I have a question regarding the gold platings, I don't know if I missed it in the omega threads but it seems that I haven't found much threads about constellations and gold platings.I'm planning to buy my first and my wife's first omega as well. My wife is eyeing the constellation 1371.71.00, I have noticed from amazon that they described the said watch as gold plated. (I'm not actually planning to buy........
