Almost bit by a Mako..Make that BIT by a Mako!

I have an itch for a Orient Blue Mako (41mm). I can't seem to stop looking at it online. I can't find much bad feedback on them (which is good). Searched through the posts about them here and they seem to be pretty solid. Any members care to share their experiences with Orient?........

Lord Elgin"DuPree" 23 Jewels 1958 -- Restored

I found this 1958 Lord Elgin DuPree needed some care and polish. The hands had some rust looking goo on them, good thing I was able to remove it and the gold/brass came back to life.........

This is fabulous! Heidi is so gifted. I cannot wait for the right occasion to wear this. The stones are so brilliant and sparkly. A very distinct piece. If I have one criticism is that it is a little heavy for me.

This is the second one of these I've owned. The watch looks good on my wrist and is a great day to day wear. Sometimes the dial is a little hard to read, if the sun is bright, but tilting it fixes that blem.
