Need help decoding watchmakers marks.
Got my first vintage watch, a 1940 Hamilton (case is inscribed with a name and 12-25-40). I opened the caseback and there are several etched numbers that I assume are from when watchmakers cleaned the movement over the years. Example: AB121454, I'm guessing was the initials of the watchmaker and the date, ie 12/14/54. But, the other numbers have me stumped. Examples: S17767-,20052-,20545-,21032-,01900B, 24337, F25052, H2RCA. Note the dashes are actually dashes, not illegible numbers. ........
