Chrono question... good or bad?

All, Regardless of the maker of the watchdoes it hurt, help or have no impact the watches 'health' if you let the chrono run 24/7? What I mean.should the chrono function be 'turned off' if not needed? Thoughts?........

The face of the Geneva watch is very appealing. The strap is extremely inferior and it would be best to purchase a new watch band if you plan on wearing this item more than once.
