Question about omega Airking of 1957
Tu to everyone. I friend has an Airking from 1957 (bought that year new). The watch does says "perpetual" but he says it doesn't have an automatic system and he winds it. I thought that "perpetual" meant that it had the perpetual rotor. Is this right?........
Mechanical Durability
Since I'm somewhat new to this, especially when it comes to Mechanical watches, my question is, how durable are they?Is it possible to wear my vintage Bulova (Or any other Mechanical watch I will aquire in the future ) for more than everyday use? Is it okay to use for hard work, like carpentry? As a drummer (Not a terribly hard hitter though), is it safe to use while playing?
