Some of the designs are so unique to the period, and unlike the gazillion watches that are called 'Art Deco' on Ebay, they really ARE Art Deco.One in particular caught my eye - the Bulova American Clipper. It was made, as far as I can tell, from 1936 to 1940. It came with white and black dials, and plain or engraved bezels.I nabbed one a month or so ago, nonrunner, which is now off at my Watch Guy's for a spa treatment...I thought, 'One's ........

Baume & Mercier MOA8369, Really good!

I don't recommend this watch. The band discolored after the first dive. After five dives (90 days after purchase) water got into the face and ruined the watch and the dive was only at 20 feet. Hands did not illuminate very brightly.
