Omega Seamaster Quartz Problem
Hello All,I have an Omega Seamaster Quartz, Movement 1538 and when I try to tighten the crown down, my watch quits working, usually within a few minutes. If I push the crown down so it's past position 1 and just barely start to tighten it it works fine. It seems to me that somehow the stem may be shorting out the watch when it's screwed in all the way, but it's also strange that it doesn't stop working immediately when the crown is screwed in all the way. Need Help With Case Markings on a Waltham Trench Watch
I just finished putting this 1919 Waltham Trench Watch back together today and there are some markings that I am not familiar with on the inside of the case back. It's a 15 jewel, size 3/0s Waltham inside an Illinois Watch Case Company gold filled "Giant" case. I have never seen the inside of a case like this marked "Waltham" before and there is what appears to be an Eagle stamped just above the Waltham signature.
