I posted in the WTB forum for a 2998 Speedmaster, but I fear many of the members here don't frequent that forum, so I'd like to just mention that I am in the market for one of those rare birds. If anyone knows of a good candidate...from a friend...another site...etc, please send me a message. I saw one sell recently on Ebay for 6k, and that seems to be about the lowest price for a solid watch. Most sellers are hoping for 8 ish, it seems. Although, most don't sell. i found this watch today in my basement it says georges favre lacot le locle mark iva on the face i know its really old but i havent a clue about watches just trying to get an idea what something like this would be worth (in american dollars) i have pics and will post shortly after a couple of responses........
