Is it wrong to be slightly impressed by an Alpha knock off

About 5 years ago, before I got my omega Submariner-when I thought I would never get one, I bought an Alpha GMT. I never wear it because it looked too much like a omega knock off and why wear that when you have the real deal? Anyway a few weeks ago I bought a 4 dollar rubber strap for it, thinking that without the bracelet it would look less like a GMT knockoff and more like a generic sports watch, and perhaps I would wear it as a knock around. Revisiting this watch, I came away impressed by ........

I gave this watch as a gift and the daughter I gave it to just loves it. It looks great on her too. It a neat fun, casual watch and the bright pink band is perfect.
