My last two watch purchases have been quartz movements.While they do not come close to replicating the craftsmanship and beauty of an automatic movement , they do perform the same basic function,that being time telling and being a pleasure to look at.I am now thinking that the vast majority of my future purchases will be quartz,kinetic,or eco drive for a reason of simple economics.I currently own over 25 automatics,many of which are well worth servicing when the time comes.If the time should com........
