Beater/Good Watch Situations

We talk of wearing a beater watch for certain occasions (mowing the lawn, working on the car, etc.). So I'm curious (and please forgive me if this has been posted before)...Has anyone ever been in a situation where they're not wearing a beater but one of their "good" watches and thought "I should have worn my beater!!"?
