Everyone I've talked to seems to want $400+ to give it the "standard" checkup/maintenance, plus any parts needed. Is there another (cheaper) option out there? How might I determine the value of the watch? I'm not interested in spending more than it's worth.Thanks........

Does a 4 year old Seiko Kenetic still charge while wearing the watch, but with the crown pulled all the way out? Also, I heard somewhere that you can lay a Seiko Kenetic in top if a toothbrush charger, and that will rapidly charge it...is this true?........
