Requesting info on this watch - vintage seamaster

A colleague inherited this watch from his grandfather. He has it on a leather strap since the original band/bracelet is long gone.I was curious if you guys knew the year, model (beside seamaster) etc. He doesn't know anything about it, it's a manual wind, very simple, nice looking watch.thanks!........

I received this watch as a gift and it is the nicest (non-expensive) watch that I have owned. It goes great with everything and is very durable. I ordered it for a friend for Christmas and she won't take it off. Definately worth the price and very classy casual.
