Anyone have thoughts on a vintage Seastar?

For some reason I've been on a vintage kick lately and I'm pretty set on adding something vintage on a leather strap in the >$100 range. (Of course I can change the strap after I get it so that's not really a concern. I just don't have anything on leather right now and I love the way it looks.) Initially I was looking at the Swiss automatic Hamiltons but when I was perusing the eBays I came across several Tissot Seastar Automatics from the '60s and '70s that I really like.My understanding is ........

Beautiful watch but after a short period of time, mesh comes loose and snags all your clothing. Do not buy it. You cannot prevent the mesh from coming loose. Poorly made duct. I am contacting Fossil directly.
