I have heard anecdotally from friends - 2 of them say they never have to manually wind their daily-wear automatic, unless of course they take it off for a couple of days. Just the occasional time reset which they are OK with.One standout is a guy who for a very short time had a used omega automatic of unknown history, many years ago, who claimed it would "die on the wrist" if not wound every so often, had to set the time "all the time" - and being in his 20's at the time opted for a nice quartz........
