abought my first IWC watch today, but what did I buy?

Hi I'm a newbie regarding watches, but I bought my first IWC today. 2311985.jpg2311987.jpgIs this watch original? I know that the wristband isn't and I think it's a 1950's model and in 18K?I paid around 900$, is that too much? I can still return it if it was a bad buy...I hope you can help a newbie........

This watch is gorgeous, but for thin wrists only. And be careful, if you get damp the black enamel comes off. I gave it as a gift other wise I would return it.

I ordered this watch after looking at local jewelers who priced it anywhere from $1,050 - $1,200 plus tax. The watch is beautiful and I couldn't have been more happy. My boyfriend gets compliments all the time. In addition, it comes very nicely packaged w/ all the information AND the guarantee you get from [WEB] is better than the guarantee you would get from a store.
