Pesky bezel markers snagging

hi I got my wife a lovely Starliner for our anniversary and she loves it but it has been snagging on all of her shirt and jacket cuffs. The raised pointed bezel markers are the culprit and they are screwed in. Can they be removed and if so does anyone else here leave them off?? Thanks! ........

Doesn't spin around your wrist. Looks great on. Not clunky like most watches are with wide wristbands. Great if you have wrists.
