Question on the Explorer II
Two Rollies that I'm jonesing for are the old SD and either the GMT IIc or the Explorer II.Does the Explorer II have the same crown positions and do they set the hands in the same way as the GMT II? I'm familiar with the GMT II's setting protocol as it's the same as my Omega Great White GMT.The lack of a movable bezel is not a problem as I've never had to track more than two time zones at a time. TIA.........
Anyone fixed sratches on Titanium?
Hey Gang,I'm considering the purchase of a watch where the case and bracelet are made of Titanium. Titanium is super strong and deceptively light weight, but I'm concerned about the inevitable scratches it can pick up on the clasp and whatnot. I hear that it scratches more easily than SS. I have some experience with SS and polishing out scratches that I picked up from some great postings of John H. and others. However, I haven't found anyone commenting on how they care for scratches on Titan........
