New member seeks Intramatic advice and help

Hello to all, new member and possibly new Hamilton owner here. I am considering a Roman numeral and dateless Intramatic from the late 1960s. Watch will go to auction and appears sound and supposedly serviced. Being new, I am naturally cautious about fakes (possibility?) and something assembled from foreign parts. I am also curious about the serial numbers , can anyone advise the sort of numbering I should expect to find. The watch simply states Hamilton Intramatic in two lines beneath the 1........

Titanium bracelet question

I understand titanium is stronger and lighter than steel; but, does are the scratches more prevelant and more often?........

I have had my Vector for five years and never leave home without it. They have discontinued it and the wrist strap is hard to find. The one I bought from Backcountry is great.
