Townsend dial refinish.

I just got this back today. It was originally done with the name set too low and the sub-second cross with four equal length lines. After some back and forth, it was redone to what you see here. I think this is pretty much as it should be with the name set high near the 12:00 and a tall, narrow sub-second cross.I think it's safe to say that Townsend dials can now be correctly refinished.Original dial for reference.........

A new re-arrival from Hamilton

A couple weeks ago I flashed a picture of a new Hamilton chronograph saying I would be wearing it soon. Unfortunately I had to send the watch back due to a small cosmetic defect in the bezel. Hello,

I've had this watch for just over a week now. As Glenn mentioned in his review, I don't have much hair either and the resin band does somehow manage to snag me and can be quite uncomfortable. Hence, I tend to either put up with this or have to keep it cinched up snugly around my arm to prevent this from happening.

Setting up the timezone was quite easy as was inputting my home city lattitude and longitude for sunrise/sunset information.

It is a good looking, lightweight rugged watch and the solar recharging is excellent. As far as the accuracy of the time, its equal to that of the time signal that AT&T sends out for its mobile devices (or my Bold 9700 at least).

If you want a rugged, slim, lightweight watch, I highly recommend this watch to you.
