Please help a newbie identify this watch...

This was my fathers Longines watch. My mother gave it to him when they got married about 50 years ago. It is one of 2 watches that I have that were his. I know that the crystal is not original and I don't think this is the bracelet that was on it originally. Can you help me to identify this watch and find an approximate value? What type of bracelet or band would it have most likely had originally? I would never be interested in selling this watch as the sentimental value would far outweigh........

Re-springed (or re-sprung)

My old Wittnauer dress watch's mainspring broke the other day - first time that has ever happened to one of my watches. My watchmaker ordered and installed a new mainspring and we are back in business today for $70 tax, title and license. He said mainspring costs have increased, but it was about $20 less than he had thought.........

It is a nice watch. It fits well, it is cute, it is metal and not plastic so it is durable. The flag decoration does not wear off, I have had one for over a year and I wear it frequently.

Breitling ab014012/f554-1ld, Really good!

I received this watch today and was so disappointed to see the condition of the gift box it came in. It was intended to be a gift for a young woman graduating from college but I cannot possibly give it as a gift. I'm so very disappointed/disgusted with HSN for sending such a lovely watch in such a scratched, worn cruddy box!!!
