By 'early' in this context I mean 1930-40s Swiss movements.I've been looking over LOTS of photos of old movements from these two companies and can't see any functional differences...in spite of the VAST difference in price.Did Swiss standards at the time mean that major companies were compelled to use the same movements with only aesthetic differences?........

Hamilton 14K 2 tone PLAIN BARREL on ebay for $900

If only 12 known examples are know to exsist? Why is the watch not selling for $900? It has been on ebay for several months. Seller says yellow and white gold. Even if it is green and yellow it should still sell if it is so rare? Seller will not show movement or post other photos. I asked him several times for them.........
