1975/6 Omega Automatic (De Ville?)
This is the only Omega I own. I think it is simply an Omega Automatic, but it looks a lot like a De Ville. This watch is from about 1975 and was a gift to my grandfather, it is inscribed with a date on the back. I later inherited the watch without a band and bought a leather band for it.He wore the watch all the time and it certainly looks well used. The glass (sapphire?) is scratched and chipped. omega 40mm Sizing
I am currently wearing two Omega Seamasters 41mm and an Omega Planet Ocean 44.25mm. I am looking for a white faced watch and it's a toss-up between a omega Explorer II and a Panerai 113. The Panerai is a 44m but the omega is only a 40mm which looks small compared to the 41mm Seamasters. What do you think...is the omega small looking? I tried an Explorer II on and it looks small. Does anyone else think so?........
