Do watches that need to be wound need to be kept wound? If I had a watch that only got occasional duty (say once a week) and so spend days at a time stopped, would that cause any long term problems? Should it be pulled out and wound every day even if not being worn?I know that many mechanical devices will seize up if not operated regularly; I'm guessing the same will happen to a watch.
