Vintage Seamaster 550 getting overhauled! (movement pictures)
Here are some [large] pics of my Seamaster 550's movement that my watchmaker sent me. I bought the watch for $100 with an obviously refinished dial, wrong [omega signed] crown and a "working, but as-is" condition. I knew it had "good bones" (as my wife would say), but after turning the crown to hand wind it, I was pretty convinced the movement was a rusty mess inside.
