Think I may have done well here - but if only I could tell green from gold!What I think I have is a 1931 Square B Plain with 987-F movement and etched dial no. 65. Gold filled case and bezel. If it's natural gold then this is one of 2,193 made. However, if it's green gold then it is one of 263. I'll assume natural gold fill unless proven otherwise. Making a wild guess that half the production run had the etched dial then this is one of about 1,000 examples. All for 111 bucks!!ebay image, my........
What watch has surprised you most?
Simple question that can be answered in many ways. I'm going to answer for a watch that I initially had decided to return and have since kept and fallen in love for. The watch I'm referring to is my Movado Military. When I opened the watch box I was underwhelmed. It was light and for some reason the optimism I had before arrival just wasn't there. So, back in the box it went, I called the dealer and requested an return number. For some reason I waited a day or two before sending it. ........
