kiddie watches with a purpose
i was able to find a couple of watches for my nieces (ages 4.5 and 6) at amazon which are quite nice. they are made by timex (good). they have small dials (appropriate for their size), they are inexpensive (about $13), seem to be somewhat rugged (you know kids), have an educational function (the hands are marked hour and minute with a minute time marker for each numberi.e., 5 for the number 1, etc.) and come in kiddie themes (i bought one dora the explorer and one hello kitty). for those who........
