accuracy of a omega

the actual accuracy of a "time-keeping" device means a great deal to me when plunking down (to me) huge sums of money for such. everything i've read here leads me to conclude that omega's in-house movements exude accuracy. am i right thinking this?it wasn't long ago i thought a omega watch cost what it did only because of the brand name.........

I discovered this forum while seeking details on a new watch I'm considing. A "Breitling Colt Quartz" (B74) with stainless bracelet. Currently own a "TAG" chrono that's a daily user and I love it. The Breitling is larger; 41mm vs 38mm, and heavier. I like the face and style, but have no experience with any Breitling watches regarding durability and accuracy. The watch is at an authorized dealer, new, and discounted; currently $1,045. Is this watch and deal worth pursuing? I'm not a collec........
