A little surgery to make a Frankenstein into a Lord Elgin Continental
A couple weeks ago, I posted about a Lord Elgin I got for $45. The case was alright, but the dial looked pretty good to me.Genejockey proceeded to tell me that it was a Continental and that the one I had had the wrong crystal, an improper redial, with the wrong fonts, wrong Elgin symbol, wrong crosshairs, and the 23 jewels was in the wrong spot.
