As I get deeper into the vintage market, I notice watches with jewel counts from 5 all the way to 100!Now I do know that 17 jewels was the standard after around 1940 or so, and most watches have that amount, but is a 21 or 25 jewel movement of a higher quality than a 17 jewel? Does a higher jewel count translate to a higher quality?........
