Mesh bracelet for my Speedy!
I finally got the mesh bracelet I ordered for my Speedmaster, and I like it.It's a little heavier than I expected, but on the wrist feels much lighter than the standard steel bracelet. The clasp seems a little thin but, I think will hold up well.It sure gives the watch a nice retro look.I still haven't mastered getting it on though! I would be much easier if I had a third hand, but I'm sure it will get a little easier with some practice.Over all the mesh on a Speedy gets a from me!I know, no pi........

Hey everyone,Found this article on the IWC forum, and thought it was very educational. I for one didn't know some manufactures get the raw ETA movements in raw pieces, completely unassembled and then prior to assembly by the manufacture they replace certain components. I think it gives a good glimpse into how a base movement is greatly modified & made into a semi-'in house' movement.
