i was doing a little shopping today and talked the wife into stopping into a store that had some nice watches.saw the oris display and when the salesman came up i asked to see the Artelier Complication..beautiful looking watch, nice deployant strap and like nothing else in my simple collection....list price $1495.00 - asked for discount and they offered 25% right away bringing it to $1122.00.if anyone has any experience with this watch or the Oris 581, base ETA 2688/2671 movement i would apprec........
Just Got this Lord Elgin, but what do I have?
I've seen this model before, but I can't seem to find it among the Elgin ads (there is the Crestwood, I think, that has a diamond dial, but it has a different case that is either in gold or white gold). Anyone have a name to attach to this watch?I haven't had a chance to clean it, but all in all, it is in very nice shape.It has the 23 jewel 730 movement.A stainless steel case, number 9588.Durapower, shockproof, anti-magnetic.And of course, the silver dial with diamond accents.With a little TLC ........
