Current vs. Previous Generation Submariner - Case/Bracelet Style

I have seen prior threads regarding this. When omega went from 16610 to 116610, there were several improvements but I think the one that sticks out to me the most is what seems to be a more durable, more adjustable bracelet. Also, if I can afford a slightly newer model of anything why not - presumable it will last longer since it's newer.In the shop today trying one of the new ones on for the first time, I thought "hmm, this bracelet looks a little narrow". I have since learned why the bracel........

So, I travel quite a bit for work, and am only home for a few days before I am away for months at a time. I got home yesterday, and the wife and kid had two presents for me, early Fathers Day gifts, since I might not make it home before then. A Seiko Orange Monster, and a Tag Formula 1. Cartier W3030021, Really good!

I like it. It's pretty and dressy and goes with anything. It's a little large and can pull off pretty easy so I wouldn't wear it for anything other than going out but it's a fun watch. FANCY looking!
