An Omega project...
I just picked up this Omega Automatic Seamaster Cosmic, reference number ST 166.0026. Took it straight to my watchmaker for clean and overhaul, but I will have to find a new dial. Dial foot problem was transferred to the dial side, causing damage at 11-12 position. Not looking for perfection, just not this kind of blemish.........
Attention or Low Key?
I often read about some members getting "compliments" on their watches.This has happened to me ,perhaps, three times in 25 years and,each time, it was from someone who was familiar with watches.Today I wore 2 watches.One was the Omega Planet Ocean (orange bezel) which IMHO is a beautiful timepiece but not a real attention grabber among the non-WIS community.The other was a nice looking CF dial chrono. The CF dial really jumps out ,nearly to the point of overpowering the rest of the dial.It dawn........
