Vintage Seiko?

I have a Seiko 5 that I have had from new.Looking up the serial number I see that it was made in November 1979.Does this qualify as a "vintage" watch now?The watch runs well, it needs to be serviced again soon but I have never had any problems with it, apart from the fact that the original bracelet kept biting chunks out of my wrist from time to time. The bracelet broke a few months ago and I got a replacement from a jewellers. Heresy to purists but I needed to get a new one and was sadly igno........
