Hands-On: With The Audemars Piguet Openworked Royal Oak Reference 15305 (Live Pics + Video)
The Openworked Royal Oak (reference 15305) was introduced at SIHH 2010 but really only began hitting stores in the past few months.? The watch is absolutely awesome, and from we we hear, is next to impossible to find.? At roughly $30,000, we view the Openworked RO as the first of two "entry level" haute horology products from AP - the other being the new Millenary 4101 that Ben raved about after SIHH.?What makes this watch so interesting is its youthful, industrial tone.? Many skeletonized watch........
Just picked up a vintage Benrus (Pics)
Stopped by my local antique store and found a vintage Benrus for $70 and it works. The strap is new and I believe the actual watch is from the 1940's, I could be mistaken though. Seems to be in great condition, haven't found a scratch. It's the first wind-up watch I've ever owned. I'm guessing you simply move the crown upwards to wind. I'm not sure exactly how long it will last between winds and how often I should wind. But anyways here are some pics. Hope you enjoy.........
