Help with Longines

Esteemed and fellow watch fans.Noticed a friend of mine wearing this vintage Longines. When I asked him about it he said it was his fathers but didnt know the year of manufacture He was guessing some time in the 50's??? With that said, if there's anyone out there who knows what would be the year of manufacture for this watch, please let me know. Also posted this on the Longines Forum...Sorry the pic focused on my pants instead of the watch!!!........

Cartier w69012Z4, Really good!

This is a very good watch, good feel, good color nice clasp, good packaging. The only downer is the face of the watch has a kinda wierd 3-d face that is totally un-noticable on the pics in the ad. Still worth the money.
