Greetings to all, and an opening question. Should an AD be asking 10995 for a Daytona? Isn't that approximately 1800 over MSRP? I have no interest in reporting them, but they might be missing a sale (quite temporarily I'm sure). My only reservation is that it's a black dial and I'd prefer white. Actually I'd prefer one of each, but rea$on must prevail.........
Strange Engraving on Hamilton
Just picked up a Hamilton from my watch guy. It's a gold tone manual from the mid 70's I believe. 832015-4. Bought it off the bay for a song, obviously don't know it's history. On the back is engraved "From SS to LU 1595." What the heck does the 1595 mean???!!!! Unless it's the oldest Hamilton in existance, I'm not sure what it means!!!!........
