Gevril 4108 - all i can find are fakes to compare to. How do i tell if its real??

This is a great forum and i've gotten a ton of good information here on other pieces before. Now, I have a guy that wants to trade me a Gevril GV2 4108 for my DSLR camera (worth about $400 or so) . He sent me pictures of it and it, says its real, has "papers" and original box...but i'm still skeptical because of the price difference. Looks like the watch is real from the........

Guess I just have too a wrist, doggone! Loved it, & it matches a cat ring I have.BUT - it just turned & was uncomfortable. Didn't want something I'd have to wear too high up on arm. Wrist is 6 1/4&quote;.
