While it is hard to give proper credit, Linde Werdelin is the first luxury watch brand that I know of that employed the use of comics (ahem, graphic novels) to sell high-end timepieces. Ordered my first Orient, a Multi-Eyes with black dial.
I noticed that there are two styles, one with a textured (don't know if it's technically guilloche or not) and one with a plain dial. Also, the bracelet is different, and the one with the textured dial looks like you could easily swap it out for leather, while the other does not. I ordered the textured dial. While I wait, does anybody want to taunt me with photos of their Orient, regardless of model?........
