Fatal Mistake?
i recently sold my Gmt 1 to a collector for US 3000. This watch has the flat shoulder guards , plexiglass, and painted hour markings without the stainless steel rings. He actually took me by complete surprise by putting down the cash right away as soon as I mentioned how much I wanted for it. Man, the watch was gone in a flash!!! Dont spare me...tell me if I just made a fatal mistake...........
Philip Watch Panama Chrono
I have a chance to buy a Philip Panama chronograph, ETA 7750 according to the PW website, but the chrono doesn't appear to work. No box, no papers, no warranty. 60 bucks. The watch winds and keeps time but the chrono no worky, the pushers don't seem to be functional. Or, does the chrono need to have a full wind to work? Walk away, or take a chance? Worth having repaired? These sell for well over 60 bucks from what I see online.........
