Help! My brand new luminox watch glows very dimly

Just bought a luminox model 3053 from an authorized dealer today. I been hearing about its night glow intensity therefore made the purchase. When I tried it on at night with all lights off, I was shocked to see that it glows very dimly. Even more dimly than my tag heuer and Oris watches. Is there anything wrong with my luminox watch? Please help.........
