Would this watch have any value .It has a very ornate case with the no 28190. Its ahunter type case and I think it is gold filled but not stamped. The movement no is 986321. Any info would be appreciated. it also has the word tornado stamped on the inside cover. Bill.........
Location names on bezel of Seiko world timer
Can someone tell me if there is any significance to the placement of the names of locations on the bezel of world timer watches, specifically the Seiko Coutura?For example, London/GMT are at 12:00, Cairo is at 1:00, and Los Angeles is at 8:00.When it is 12:00 in London, it is not 1:00 in Cairo, nor is it 8:00 in L.A. (that was my first guess as to the placement, but obviously that's not it.)Any insight will be appreciated!........
